Audience: Grades K-12

Length: Half Day Workshop

 

Learning outcomes for participants in this workshop:

  • Teachers will learn the 4 levels of DOK and how to develop lessons around DOK
  • Teachers will learn the correlation between HOTS, DOK and TDQ
  • Teachers will develop questions across content areas that are aligned to DOK
  • Teachers will learn about cognitive rigor and what it looks like in their teaching practice
  • Teachers will explore how HOTS in close reading across content areas will increase deep thinking.

Teachers will be provided with a host of resources, activities and strategies to support their work with students around HOTS.
