Length: Half Day Workshop
Learning outcomes for participants in this workshop:
- Teachers will learn the 4 levels of DOK and how to develop lessons around DOK
- Teachers will learn the correlation between HOTS, DOK and TDQ
- Teachers will develop questions across content areas that are aligned to DOK
- Teachers will learn about cognitive rigor and what it looks like in their teaching practice
- Teachers will explore how HOTS in close reading across content areas will increase deep thinking.
Teachers will be provided with a host of resources, activities and strategies to support their work with students around HOTS.
