During this workshop teacher and leaders will learn how to:

  • Create text dependent question for close reading passages based on Depths of Knowledge (DOK) and aligned to the requirements of the NJSLS and NJSLA.
  • Use multiple strategies to assist students with written responses to TBQ.

Identify levels of complex texts with DOK level questions.

Teachers are asked to bring two texts, so they can develop text dependent questions.
